I’ve been skiing since I was little… but today I’ve been skiing since I was little… but today was the first time I was able to ride the main chairlift with my two big kids. 🎿💛

The last six years we’ve come to Queenstown for a family ski trip.
They’ve always been in crèche or lessons — and I’ve skied solo, dreaming of the day they’d be able to join me up high.

Today, they did. 🙌🏼

We clipped in side by side, hopped on the lift ❄️ — and suddenly, I was the one trying to keep up. 😅

It made me realise how when your kids can finally do something with you, alongside you, at the same pace… the joy suddenly multiplies. 🥰

Watching them glide down the mountain ahead of me — confident, grinning (and pointing out side jumps I’d never even noticed) — was honestly magic.
Mila at 10 with the skills. Torin at 6 with the speed. 🤪

These are some of my favourite moments of motherhood.

When something you’ve done for years becomes something you get to share.
Not with you in the lead. But with them alongside.

Joy shared = joy multiplied 💛

How do you keep up with exercise while you’re aw How do you keep up with exercise while you’re away? ✈️👟
I get asked this question by clients all the time.

Truth is — I almost never go to the gym on holiday (unless there’s one right there ).
But I do move, every day.

The secret?
➡️ Choose holidays that include naturally active activities.

It doesn’t need to be a formal workout — in fact, it’s often better when movement is just part of your day.

When I’ve tracked my own steps, I often move more on holiday — even without a 1-hour gym session.
Because instead… we’re moving all day!

Here’s some of what I’ve done lately:
• Morning walks in the fresh air 🥾
• Biking with the kids around town 🚲
• Carrying the twins on my front and back 👶🏼👶🏼
• Shoulder-carrying Torin on our adventures 🎒
• Skiing 🎿
• Walking to cafés instead of driving ☕
• Jumping into rivers 🌊
• Skateboarding (borrowed the kids’ boards!) 🛹
• Kayaking 🚣🏼‍♀️

The best part?
You’ll feel amazing during your trip — and come home not needing to “start over” or “get back on track.”
Because you never left it.

You can absolutely come back from holiday feeling fitter, stronger, and better than ever.

365 days ago today, I broke my shoulder, wrist, an 365 days ago today, I broke my shoulder, wrist, and finger in a skiing accident. ⛷️❄️

The conditions weren’t great — icy and overcast. I was skiing down a narrow steep slope when a woman suddenly fell in front of me. I swerved to avoid her — missed her body, but couldn’t avoid clipping the tips of her outstretched skis. I flew forward, did a full 360 flip, and landed hard on rock-solid ice. 🧊

A clean break straight through my right clavicle collarbone.
A fracture to my right ring finger.
And my wrist? Despite the pain, they didn’t x-ray it until 4 weeks later — too late for the reconstructive surgery it needed.

It’s been a long, painful, frustrating road to recovery.
The “no heavy lifting for 12 weeks” part? Pretty much impossible with twins! 👶🏼👶🏼

But today… I went back up.
Half excited. Half nervous.
But I did it — and man, it felt amazing. 🙌🏼

Here’s the lesson I’ve learned — through this and so many other health setbacks:

Health isn’t linear. 📈

One injury, one setback, one diagnosis — doesn’t need to define your future.

Whatever your version of falling down is — it’s never too late to get back up.
Back on the wagon. Back to your next positive choice. ✨

The journey doesn’t need to be perfect — in fact, it never is.
It just needs to be consistent.

So if this is you too — keep showing up.
One baby step, one fresh slope, one healthy choice at a time. 🫶
