  • Be Nourished's sauerkraut is made simply from organically grown cabbage, fermented in its own natural juice - the name sauerkraut literally means 'sour cabbage'. But don't be put off by the name - this amazing fermentation process means that sauerkraut is rich in probiotics such as euconostoc, pediococcus and lactobacillus. 

    The fermentation process also helps to make certain nutrients (think calcium and magnesium) more bioavailable. Sauerkraut is also an amazing source of iron and fibre, as well as being rich in vitamins B, C and K - all round an amazing product! Crunchy and tangy, we love sauerkraut.
