Artemis Deep Sleep Tea
1. Artemis Deep Sleep Tea

If like me you have a busy mind and struggle to switch off at the end of the day, I highly recommend adding a naturopathic sleep tea to your evening routine. This one from Artemis is my favourite, with certified organic hops, lemon balm, liquorice, passionflower and valerian. Research has shown these medicinal herbs to be effective in calming and relaxing the nervous system - perfect if you’re an A-type personality or rushing woman!

Organic Mechanic Kombucha
3. Organic Mechanic Kombucha

Along with my daily kefir, I love a good glass of kombucha. Booch (as it's sometimes lovingly called) is sweeter than coconut kefir and brewed using sugar, but the SCOBY (bacteria) eats up the sugar in the fermentation process, making it very low cal yet full of probiotic goodness. The perfect replacement for your Friday night bevvie! This one from the guys at Organic Mechanic is my fav, and tastes delicious. Plus I love what these lads are all about (peace, animal love and environmental sustainability).

4. Little Bird Unbakery

My absolute favourite cafe right now, and where you’ll see me regularly perched during the mid week. Megan, the founder, is an absolute superstar at creating plant-based food that tastes amazing - I’m honestly hooked! They’ve just released a new drinks menu too - lots of new smoothie combos, plus a range of superfood infused coffees (fair trade and organic obvs) for the caffeine lovers amongst. I can’t go past the Sprouted Bread with Asparagus and Mushrooms, the Detoxifying Green Smoothie, and the Choc Hazelnut Cookies - divine!

Kiwiherb Echiberry
5. Kiwiherb Echiberry

After a few weeks of a bit too much work, Mila, Tony and I copped a serious bout of influenza this year. Luckily I came across this new echinacea blend from Kiwiherb. Echinacea on its own has a very unusual taste, but the geniuses at Kiwiherb have blended it with vitamin C and antioxidant packed NZ blackcurrants, making it taste delicious! Even Mila asks for seconds now.. “mummy - more, more?”
