Talofa from Samoa! Yep, we’ve sneaked across the Pacific this week for a little ray of sunshine. If you’re on my Insta you might have caught a few of my insta stories thus far. Let’s just say it’s stunning.
It’s our first time to Samoa, and I’m totally sold already. Amazing weather (25-30+ C right now), only 4 hours from Auckland (yay for toddler travel), gorgeous clean beaches covered in golden sand, and crystal clear waters with coral and fish below. A true island paradise! Will no doubt share a few more pics and stories on Insta and FB the next week, so if you’re keen to see what it looks like (for your next trip...?), come find me there.
Meanwhile, I know it’s not that hot yet back home, and even my Euro friends are starting to dust off their sweaters again. Which means, enter, this - hot chocolate of your dreams.
Now I know you already know how to make a regular hot choc, but this one’s a little spesh. A little more fancy if you will. Yes, this Mexican Hot Chocolate is…
Plus, it’s made a little extra luxe thanks to shavings of dark chocolate throughout. Vegan, dairy-free and low sugar bliss! Beware, you may want to dip spoonfuls of peanut butter into this one, it’s that good…
If you'd like to find out more about cacao, you can read my article on the top 5 benefits here. 40 times the antioxidants of blueberries, 200% more iron than beef and lamb, full of magnesium, more calcium than cow's milk, and a natural mood booster and anti-depressant. Then spend the next 5 minutes making these delish Mex Hot Chocs!
If you do, would love to see your mugs of heavenly chocolate goodness over on Instagram. Follow me here, then share and tag your photo @begoodorganics and #begoodorganics so I can find you. If you’re not on Insta, you can always share your remakes on my Facebook page too, right here - I love seeing how you get on in your plant-based cuisine endeavours!
Hope you love your snuggly new hot choccie evenings. It’s off to the beach for me - that snorkelling is looking too good to be true.
Til next week, stay happy and well.
