  • Pacific Harvest Kelp Salt is a 100% natural sea salt enriched with all the natural goodness of New Zealand kelp. Kelp is a rich source of Iodine and other vitamins and minerals. Pacific Harvest Kelp Salt can be used as a healthy and tasty replacement for regular table salt.

    Pacific Harvest chose Ecklonia radiata, a type of NZ Kelp recognised for its mild flavour and speckled colour. Our kelp comes from various untouched areas around the country, mainly the Bay of Plenty and Waiarapa. It is a seaweed that grows deep under water. Because Kelp is not allowed to be cut from the wild natural supplies in New Zealand, it is collected by hand during storms when it is detached from the kelp forest.

    New Zealand based Pacific Harvest supplies fine seaweed which are made in small and high quality batches. Their types of seaweed from New Zealand include Karengo (NZ Nori) , Agar and Kelp. All of the sea vegetables are selected and hand-harvested by professionals that have made a career of harvesting seaweed. This process is undertaken in areas of New Zealand where nature has remained pristine and free of contaminants.
