Loving Earth



  • Our Loving Earth raw certified organic agave syrup is harvested in the Ixmiquilpan region of Mexico. Unlike some commercially produced agave syrups, it is minimally processed with no chemicals used. It is also kept below 40¡C, meaning it remains in its raw form and retains all the vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients and enzymes of the natural agave plant. Our dark agave has more minerals than the light filtered version, in addition to a richer, wilder flavour.

    Agave has a low Glycemic Index (GI) of <30, meaning that it will give you a long slow release of energy rather than the quick peak and subsequent crash which high GI sugars cause. This means it also has benefits for weight management and improving glucose and lipid levels in people with diabetes (type 1 and type 2)*.
  • Our agave has beautiful vanilla and cactus notes. As a direct sugar replacement, use 25% less Agave than the quantity of sugar you would normally add.

    Agave is a delicious sweetener which can be used whenever you would normally use a sweetener - in hot drinks, plant-based nut milks, smoothies, raw desserts, baking, sauces, desserts, and even savoury dishes.

    *Please note if you have a severe case of diabetes type 1 or 2, it is always advisable to seek your medical doctor's advice before using a sugar replacement. We would always advise you to use any sweeteners minimally if you are seeking to heal your diabetes.
